KHW-Microporous Nickel electrolyte - High corrosion resistance

KHW-MP 308 is an electroplating process which improves the corrosion resistance of nickel - chrome systems. The increased corrosion protection is achieved by formation of microporous structure of the chrome layer.

An improved corrosion resistance is reached by the deposition of a proportional ratio KHW-MP 308 nickel layer. The porosity of the chrome layer caused by KHW-MP 308 is depending on the deposit thickness of the chrome layer. By 0.25 micrometre chrome are approx. 40.000 pores/cm achieved. By 0.50 micrometre approx. 20.000 pores/cm.
